Panto season’s over – oh no it isn’t

I was invited by the Mayor of Droitwich to attend the Beauty and the Beast panto production at the Norbury Theatre in Droitwich.

For those that haven’t been it’s a great little theatre. It started life as an Art Deco hotel becoming a US military hospital during the Second World War until becoming a theatre in 1962. It is now run by a dedicated team of volunteers.

The panto itself was great with the horse Gigi being one of the stars and attempting to dance a rumba with the wicked fairy Cruella when arriving on stage with a bang making me jump out of my seat.

A very entertaining evening.
